Conference takes place every year, except years when there is a FELSA congress. Hosting and organizing of the event is based on a rotation scheme between all the member countries. 

The conferences aim at supporting the idea of harmonizing education, improving the state of knowledge and supporting high standards in the ethical treatment and welfare in the application of laboratory animals. However, another important aim of the conferences is to bring people from the lab animal area together for net working and social interactions.

At the conferences Scand-LAS also welcome you to the Annual General Meeting (AGM). In FELASA congress years the Annual General Meeting takes place, and this usually takes place at the FELASA congress, for the convenience of our members.
