The Scand-LAS Board has decided this year to allocate money for 12 scholarships to attending FELASA-Scand-LAS Joint meeting 2010 Marina Congress Center, Helsinki, Finland, June 14-17, 2010. in Helsinki, Finland,

The scholarships will be 1000 Euro each. The scholarships will cover part of costs for symposium fee a/o travel costs.

The scholarships are open for Animal Technicians, Biomedical Laboratory Technicians and Postgraduate students, who have difficulties in getting funding from other sources.

Only Scand-LAS members can apply for scholarships.

    The application must include
  • Full CV
  • Motivation for attending
  • Letter of recommendation
  • Written on ScandLAS applicationform
  • Sent the application to Scholarships@scandlas.org

If one or more of the above mentioned documents are missing the application will be rejected.

The applicant intending to submit an abstract for presentation should attach that. An abstract will strengthen your possibility to be supported.

The application must be in English. Those of you that hesitate to write in English please ask your supervisor or any from the Scand-LAS board for help.

To be refunded, the stipend holder must present original receipts and a short travel report. The report should include what has been achieved during the meeting. Evaluation of the meeting will be separate.

Submit the application electronically to Scholarships@scandlas.org not later than February 26, 2010.

Only applications using the electronic form will be considered .

Notice that just complete application will be considered.
